As a curvy girl I know that black is a very flattering color! So, of course, It is true that most of the dresses I own are black. I love these LBD's because they are not only fabulous but so many things can be done with them.

They can be dressed up or dressed down, worn to work or worn on the weekend. I just love the functionality of them. My favorite black dress of all is one with a white ribbon tied at the waist.

This is also very flattering and fun to wear at the same time. The LBD is perfect for any type of girl. Be it a curvy girl or a skinny girl a laid back girl or a professional girl.

My LBD It wasn’t expensive and it’s not by a famous designer, but it’s my favorite. It’s a short black tank dress in jersey. I t just skims the body and has sequins around the hemline and at the shoulder straps.

I like it because it’s flattering for my shape, which is bottom heavy. It falls at just the right spot above my knee that is flattering for my legs too. I can dress it up or down by wearing it with mules or heels. When looking for a little black dress, I like to find something that is simple and understated.

Re inventing the outfit using different accessories and shoes can give the dress many lives. It is important that the dress looks good from the back, as you will be seen leaving as well as arriving and if you are on a date, his eyes are sure to be watching you when you visit the ladies room!

My favorite designer is Betsy Johnson, and her dresses are far from simple and understated, I love her because she is so feminine and along with that little black number, which never lets you down, a girl needs one or two statements in her wardrobe too.
