What is Perfume

What is Perfume

What is perfume? Perfume is made from either natural ingredients like the essential oils of plants or the musk of animals, spices and man made chemicals. The mixture of these ingredients are blended with an sd alcohol (which is a very pure form of alcohol) or oil.

shopping tips
Shopping tip 101 Shopping tip One of the best ways to stay focused while shopping is to take a picture with you out of one of your favorite magazines. If you take an image with you, not only will it help you and a sales staff to pull together the look you want, but it will also help you stay focused on what you came to the store for in the first place as well as save money.
Source your magazines-meaning pull out the information that inspires you, put it in a binder and recycle the rest. I started doing this when I was in college and it has been a lot of fun. It also saves time and space.

Shoes

I love womens shoes. I have no idea why I love them as much as I do. It is a true obsession.

All the girls in my family seemed to be afflicted with it, thought some have it more then others.

I thought for the longest it was some weird little oddity that only my family had.

The Secret Life of The LBD

One of the 10 essential pieces of any woman’s wardrobe.

The LBD dress is chameleon like, and an essential part of any woman’s wardrobe. Coco Chanel is credited for the creation of the LBD.
Read about Coco Chanel..

It's true she was in love with black and she did help popularize a version of the lbd in 1926 when she came out with a simple black jersey dress, but many designers had their own versions.

So why are so many fashionistas in love with this dress?

Well, like any simple garment, it is a canvas in which you can create your own personal style.

Work or play, it is one of the easiest pieces of clothing that can morph from day to evening.

Depending on the style, it's flattering to almost anyone's figure and you simply never have to worry about what you have to wear to an event if you have at least one great little black dress.

Simply by changing your accessories you turn it into the perfect little black cocktail dress.

Dress it up or down Add a touch of drama to your eyes and change the color of your lipstick. Get into some ultra sheer black pantyhose and sexy heels and you’re ready to knock’em dead. Henry Ford had the right idea...

How to choose your LBD for your body type.

The Little black dress is your canvas. If you’re comfortable with the shape of your body, then chose a silhouette you feel drawn to. On the other hand if you are sensitive about your body then look for an LBD that flatters you.
  1. LBD for Top Heavy body type: If your top heavy then the goal to create symmetry is either to minimize the top half or add a bit to the bottom half. The top of the dress should be fairly simple. A scoop or V-neck is the best option for the top. The bottom half of the dress can be simple with some flare, gathers or soft draping. Also stiffer fabric particularly on the bottom half can do the same thing.
  2. LBD for Bottom Heavy or Pear body type: The perfect dress for those of us “me included) is to create symmetry by choosing a dress that has some interesting details on the top half of the dress and very simple skirting on the bottom half. The skirt part of the dress can have soft small gathers or the silhouette itself can be an a-line. What ever you choose look for a dress naturally flairs out at the hem a bit without creating the tent look.
  3. LBD for Curvy or Hourglass body type: Personally I think the hourglass body type is the least challenged simply because it is considered the “ideal”, but I have met women who are uncomfortable with their figure. The best way to minimize the hourglass body type is to choose a dress that doesn’t accentuate the waist. A shift or loose sheath dress are probably your best bet.
  4.  LBD for Rectangular or Boyish body type: This figures biggest issue is the lack of a defined waistline. So a dress that accentuates the waist is what you should be looking for. Choose a dress that has some body like a Dupioni silk or crisp organic cotton can be cinched in at the waist with an interesting belt. Also a wrap dress, halter dress, and a sheath silhouette are all god options. Not clingy or loose.
