What is Perfume

What is Perfume

What is perfume? Perfume is made from either natural ingredients like the essential oils of plants or the musk of animals, spices and man made chemicals. The mixture of these ingredients are blended with an sd alcohol (which is a very pure form of alcohol) or oil.

shopping tips
Shopping tip 101 Shopping tip One of the best ways to stay focused while shopping is to take a picture with you out of one of your favorite magazines. If you take an image with you, not only will it help you and a sales staff to pull together the look you want, but it will also help you stay focused on what you came to the store for in the first place as well as save money.
Source your magazines-meaning pull out the information that inspires you, put it in a binder and recycle the rest. I started doing this when I was in college and it has been a lot of fun. It also saves time and space.

Shoes

I love womens shoes. I have no idea why I love them as much as I do. It is a true obsession.

All the girls in my family seemed to be afflicted with it, thought some have it more then others.

I thought for the longest it was some weird little oddity that only my family had.

Giorgio Armani

Hourglass body type

Hourglass body type: also known as the curvy figure, figure eight opposing triangles. This figure has the top and bottom about the same as each other and a well-defined waistline, at least 9" less then the hips and breast.

Women that have this body type often gain weight in their upper and lower half first.

Goal

The hourglass figure is considered the ideal figure in American culture. So keep it soft and simple for the most flattering effect. Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe and Selma Hayek are known for theirhourglass figures

What to wear?  Soft supple fabrics that hang well and enhance yourfigure, wide leg pants for symmetry. Soft skirts and jackets withrounded collars all work to accentuate this figure. Small prints. In general, keep it minimal and chic, no clingy fabrics

Fashion Designer: Giorgio Armani

His very feminine designs with curvy cropped jackets are ideal for the hourglass body type.
Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani was born July 11, 1934 in Piacenza, 50 miles south of Milan.

He studied as a medical doctor for 2 years.

From 1961 to 1970 he worked for Nino Cerruti.

He started his own company designing men’s clothing in 1974 and introduced his women’s wear label in 1975.

He started designing clothes for Hollywood in 1980.

He was the 2nd fashion designer to ever grace the cover of Time magazine in 1982. The other designer was Christian Dior in 1940.

Armani completely deconstructed the business suit and gave it soft tailoring and more shoulder. It was dubbed the “power suit” and was worn by Richard Gere in American Gigolo. The result was a relaxed, confident and very chic look.

His original women’s suits were actually men’s suits made in women’s sizes.
Today Armani’s vision sets the standard for how a suit should be worn. His beautifully fluid lines, his unyielding sense of style and impeccable tailoring sets him apart from his peers. His evening gowns are to die for.

He is truly one of the best, most innovative clothing designers ever. The first fashion designer to ban models with a body mass index under 18. After Ana Carolina Reston starved herself to death due to anorexia nervosa. Forbes named him the most successful Italian Fashion Designer for five years 2001-06.  He received the Grand Cavalier della Repubblica and the Commendatore dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Legion d’Honneur.

A career retrospective exhibit was opened in New York at the Guggenheim Museum.
